WordPress 2.9 is out. In addition to over 500 tickets/bug fixed, it added a couple of nice features that I like.
- Build-in Image editor where you can crop or rotate your image without leaving WordPress.
- Ability to embed videos from popular sites by just providing the url.
Upgrading now is pretty easy with the wordpress automated upgrade feature. Just remember to backup your site first and make sure to check that at least the important plugins you use are compatible with the new version before you upgrade.
