I agree, and I already signed up for a VPS server that I want to dedicate to blog and blog related sites mainly. Even if I have my own server, I will need to have it serviced at a datacenter, where they keep an eye on it 24/7.
The issue comes when there is some network problems that are out of my control. I just have to choose a good quality data center for a long term relation.

We are very sorry for late response and apologize for the inconveniences caused to you. Problem is due to router failure, not only your server but all our servers are down and we are working 24/7 to get everything backup ASAP. 
 
I am really sorry, but at this time we are unable to provide any time frame, but everything should be up ASAP.</description>
