You will need to contact your hosting provider for this. I noticed that in horde mail the attachements don’t work but both squirrel mail and round cube mail attachments work fine.

Hi,
I have had an “AJAX Failure” message for quite some time now. I have no idea what this means, but I understand that it should not take this long to resolve. I have recently been unable to add attachments to emails. I can’t view emails through my Cpanel Accelerated2. This AJAX problem started around the time of the upgrade.

Yes, you can move the files to any directory you like from your laptop, however if you ftp wordpress files, you will need to copy the data from your database as well. Or just create a new installation on your host. If you copy your data and files to a different directory, you will need to update the wp_options table entry for home directory, so that wordpress knows where the installation resides. Usually it is the first entry in the table with the option_name ‘siteurl’. The corresponding option_value should be the correct root directory or home page of your blog.
I personally use Fantastico only for temporary installations, but for long term installations just ftp the file and do the 5 minute installation.

Hi sherif, I am a techy but not with blogs or cpanel yet. I hope you will consider answering a question for me. It will probably sound petty to you.
I have apache and mysql on my laptop with wordpress running my blog. I have created a wordpress installation on my host site and want to transfer the files from my computer to the www folder in the subdirectory. Can I just find the appropriate folder on the host and ftp the files into it? also how do I put a blog on my hosted blog daily of weekly , do I go through fantastico or what?
