While some people say it is a problem to only have one cPanel account for multiple sites, I see this as a bonus, it makes it much easier to manage all your websites from one single cPanel account. The only problem I can think of is using htaccess files to use mod_rewrite on urls, as all your sites are under sub folders of the main domain the rewrite takes affect on all folders, I’m sure there is a way around this though.

This is one of the disadvantages of addons, you don’t have a cpanel account for each addon domain. Only one cpanel account to manage all your addons.

How to manage add-on domain with cpanel. http://www.addondomain.com/cpanel open the cpanel window but when I enter the parameters its doesn’t work.

Sure, cpanels functions have an API that could be used by software to automate any process.
I don’t know of any webhosting providers that offer this service, but you can check for software that you will need to do this.

Does any one knows how to add multiple domain at the same time through cPanel?

I have 100+ domains and I want to add all the domains in a batch.
Any clue???

I used addon domains with wordpress and had no problems with it. I try to stay away from fantastico, as it is not secure enough.

Addon domains can be useful for small number of sites. One problem is some fantastico scripts do not work on addon domains, we have to set the directory of installation to an addon domain name, else they are on the subdomain url only

Addon domains can save you money but there is one disadvantage and that is your sites will lose some SEO value if they are all on the same IP. Addon domains are placed on the same IP address as the main account.
