Avast is a good anti-virus software, i’ve used it before. I would also recommend AVG and Avira AntiVir Personal. Both provide good virus protection, and they’re both free.

I’m very glad to hear that everything fine with avast and company continues to expand. Most of all I like avast because of their freeware home antivirus. Me and my friends can buy rather expensive commercial products, but what about people that haven’t enought money for that? Why they must endure the inconveniences because of that?
